Ria Health’s medical team can prescribe naltrexone, acamprosate, gabapentin, disulfiram, baclofen, or topiramate depending on your history and goals. That range matters because not every person responds to naltrexone, and access to multiple options increases the chance of finding something effective. All medical check-ins and coaching sessions happen through the app, so there are no clinic visits or waiting room time required.

The breathalyzer integration gives the care team objective data between sessions rather than relying on self-report alone. According to Ria Health, members reduce their alcohol intake by an average of 75 percent after 12 months in the program. The service is distributed partly through employer health plans and insurers, and direct enrollment is available for individuals as well.
