Hers sits inside a broader women’s health ecosystem, which means many users who come for birth control or skincare can add mental health care through the same account without starting over with a new service. The clinical model is asynchronous: you fill out a symptoms intake, a clinician reviews it, and medication arrives by mail if prescribed. Messaging with your care team between prescription renewals is included.
The formulary covers SSRIs and SNRIs for anxiety and depression but not controlled substances, so it doesn’t cover ADHD or anything requiring a stimulant or benzodiazepine. There’s no insurance option, which keeps pricing flat but means you pay out of pocket with no copay or deductible benefit. For women already in the Hers ecosystem, the mental health add-on is the most direct path to a prescription without opening a new account.
