Circle Medical works well for patients who want a single primary care provider to manage straightforward mental health conditions alongside their general health. Because providers are in primary care rather than psychiatry, Circle Medical focuses on non-severe presentations and isn’t a replacement for a full psychiatric evaluation in complex cases.
ADHD diagnosis and treatment, including controlled substance prescriptions where clinically appropriate, is available in most states where Circle Medical operates. The exceptions are Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, and North Carolina. Over 1,500 accepted insurance plans cover most major PPO networks, but HMO, Medicaid, and Medicare plans are not accepted. Patients in the 18 states not yet covered will need to use another service.
